A new blog I found much agreement with.
A quote:
“The same thing happens in the world of social issues, where there is an obvious ‘conservative’ and ‘progressive’ perspective. These, in turn, suggest either ‘conservative’ or ‘progressive’ solutions to our collective problems. But, if you dig a little deeper, you will find other ways of seeing the world, which lead to other alternative courses of action. Ours is a website dedicated to digging deeper.
Some might call this ‘third’ position politically “centrist,” others may call it “social libertarianism.” We prefer to see ourselves as putting forward an alternative analysis; one often left out of the ‘mainstream’ political debate, and therefore alternative solutions to social problems. In short, what we’re putting forward is ‘Huxley’s Third Alternative.’”

Ok, I admit, I am completely lost as to why the United states government is choosing to bail out large private institutions like AIG. If the rumors are correct, we have given them over a billion dollars from the treasurey and from loans from China. Why?

A lot of Christians encounter the world of non-Christian philosophy as a kaleidoscope of falsehoods. Most of us see some non-Christian worldviews as obviously wrong, and others as very nearly true, but not quite. Where do your sympathies lie in the universe of half-truths and false starts?
If you weren’t a Christian, what do you think your philosophy or worldview would most likely be?

8.2lbs 21in long with full head of dark hair. The home birth went very well. Abi labored in a birthing pool this time and loved it.

is baaaack. Third season, kiddos. It’ll be better cause I have more time every week.
By better, I mean more structured, less precious. Whee!

I’m voting for Bob Barr…check out his site: I am not keen on all of his policies, but I am sure not pleased with most of either of the two “mainstream” candidates either.
So what do ya say?
BTW…I lost all of my phone contacts a while ago and need them again (new phone, lost the old), please send me your contact info

I just thought I would share with everyone that Jennifer is pregnant with number two. We found out about one week ago. Due to our history, we have been checking Jennifer’s homrmone levels. So far nothing has dropped below average which is great. We are going in on Wednesday to do another blood test. I wish we didn’t have to mess with the hospital, but there is no where around here that does private blood work that I know of. Anyway, just thought I would share my news. Oh, and for those of you who do not know, I passed my test, so I will be in Lawrence at least one more year. If I pass my next one in the Spring, I am golden.
